If you think it has anything to do with the individuals involved, you are sadly mistaken - at least in my case.
One of the reasons that many people found Oprano attractive is that stupid didn't cut it here. That standard is obviously weakening. Few of my adult projects ever did more than spectacularly below average, yet I was NEVER made to feel unwelcome here. I could have gotten my wittle feelings hurt more than a few times, if I had been thin skinned about things. It's not about Nick and Ant - it's more about an environment where the short-bus riders have to be treated the same as the National Merit finalists.
