The retirement home lets me have net access for 30 mins a day.

I'm usually lucid for 2 mins of them and thought "If Cuddly's involved I might as well post"

I'm actually on Spring break at the Hotel that we all went to a few times.

Oh my god yeah I remember.. That was a scary drive! Five thousand pounds of steel screaming through ICE and SNOW with Redlion behind the wheel! aaahhh.. Good hotel though.. I remember I won a fair bit of money in the casino. I'll have to go back and visit someday.. I enjoyed Canada. Crystal and I both did..

Your more than welcome to hang out.. this place feels like home for so many of us.. lots of history in this site and the sites that came before it. Someone mentioned the idea earlier of a timeline.. I may look into that.. I might be fun to walk down memory lane.

When I got it , it was on life support and I couldn't resucitate it and had nothing to sell on it if I did. - ( A board owner defenitely needs to have an affilate program or some other angle to make the side money on , AEBN and Cuddly may well be the mix it needs...time will tell)

Joe and gonzo pretty much pulled the plug on it by inferring that the old guard were no longer welcome , drive by spam was more relevant etc.

I hope with Bishop's and AEBN's input it does well.

I have not been keeping track of the board so I don't know how things have been lately to be honest. I see this board as it was say two years ago. That is my perspective. The sites greatest asset is the old guard in my opinion. It is to fucking hard to start new these days.. not that it can't be done but I just don't think any site should cater to the inexperienced anymore. Affiliate programs make money from the old guard not from the new up and comers. I want the old guard to call Oprano home.. or at the very least drop by on a regular basis to see what everyone else is up to. I think the companies that advertise on sites like Oprano see the value in the old timers.

I'll be honest.. I don't know what everyone else wants out of this site I just know what I want out of this site. I want a place I can personally go and talk shop with old friends who probably know what they are talking about. I want to hear opinions from people who I think have really earned the right to have an opinion. I don't have a ton of time on my hands to hang out on the boards. I can't even read some of the boards because they move so fast.. I don't want to work my way through a mountain of bullshit to get to something worth reading. I would rather read ten intelligent post a day than a hundred crap post.

We have alot of really neat things in the works.. I love AEBN. The core group is made up of a bunch of very bright people. Lots of good ideas float around the table everyday. There are more good ideas than anyone could possibly do. We pick and choose and move ahead. It is a rewarding company to be involved in. Life is never boring.
