well, to be honest, because of the personal involvement it is a little of both....you can't say that in your life you have never had anything like this happen? Here, how is this for the people who can't follow along....I took it personal that someone I knew would rip my business off

It was always business that I had a little personal involvement in because one of my best friends in the entire world was in love with the girl...it is one thing if a buddy is fucking her, but my best friend was head over heals in love with her and she broke his heart....WAY different

How am I being childish asking for advice? I never lashed out against her, EVER...even after it happened.....I thought I was acting pretty civil asking other adult for advice on a matter that probably should have been dead, but I have a stubborn mind.

You'd have to file it there IF it is allowed. California's laws are inconsistent with the rest of the states to say the least, so I have no idea whether you can do it there. Some states allow it, some dont.

In Georgia, small claims must be filed with the magistrate court in the county where the defendent lives. Or if you're suing a corporation it must be in the county where the corp is registered.
