I use the "I paint my nails when I happen to feel like it" system. It works for me. Pedicures will always be on my whistful "things I can't do" list, I'm afraid.

It's similar to the French except the nail tip isn't painted as stark white and the nail bed color is more towards the pink side. When done right it looks like you have completely natural, long nails with clear polish on them.
Next time you get your nails done, ask if they do them. It's not new. I've been getting mine done that way since 1998.

Okay I've seen those, I've seen the ones with the 'pink' hue on them before, I still prefer the french.
