My single, no kids girlfriends say it looks like a man is looking for a mother for his kids. There are a few that don't look at it that way, but I just had a convo the night before last with one of them and that was exactly how she put it.
Don't take it personally
In this day and age, it's rare to find anyone who doesn't have a kid or two stashed somewhere that's single and over 35.
