Two of the best business books on building a successful and enduring company "Built To Last" and "Good to Great" have a lot to say about these types of moves. "Turn around" is short term, usually is nothing more than slashing costs/expenses to make the books look better and these companies almost always fall on their asses again in 5-10 years.
not only that, you can imagine what personal values and accounting skills that someone from Enron will bring.
