Truly sad I would say.
As far as Reeve goes he was such a strong person after such a terrible accident.

Sad news...
Strange too, that Sen Kerry had remarked at Friday's debate how his friend Chris Reeve would maybe someday benefit from stem cell research and possibly walk again sometime.
