Federal spending on education under Bush has increased 65%. It is commonly said he has never met a spending bill he didn't like. There are 5 million more people employed in the US today than there were 4 years ago. You can look up those numbers at the Department of Labor website. January, 2004. 138.6 million employed. 1999. 133.4 million employed. Unemployment is below its post 1960's average right now. What would you consider good unemployment numbers? I think 5.6% is more than reasonable.
