Mikey ... as long as our military remains in Iraq it will be a target. As long as it is a target, it will be forced to take actions that play into the hands of the terrorists.
How long do you think it will take for an Iraqi government to establish control and ask us to leave? If that government does not, it will not retain the support of the people. What are we going to do when that happens? You are buying a pie in the sky, Mike ... I repeat again - the policy that the Bush Administration is pursuing is fundamentally flawed, and will damage the interests of the U.S. in both the short and long term.
