There are militant members of Islam in France, in England, and in the United States.
That does NOT mean that all of those who practice that faith subscribe to the violent teachings of the funamentalists, any more than the actions of the "Christian" fundamentalists who kill abortion doctors can be used to charactrerize the beliefs of all Christians.
