I think one can safely say than in general if you look at any group of thousands of people you get a range of behaviors and there are always a few on the far left or the far right of the spectrum.
Hell, when US soldiers rolled into Baghdad some Iraqis waved flags, some tore down statues and pictures of Saddam and celebrated, some looted, some hid in their homes and some fired AK47's. Something for everyone.
