In my life, there are varying levels of friends. Acquaintances are those that I've met, but haven't really talked to at any great length. HOPEFULLY those acquaintances become friends later. Like Lisa with PMB. We've met before, but never chatted. We spent some time together in FL and now I consider her a GOOD friend.

When I was in the corporate world there were people I considered "friends", but not GOOD friends, i.e. I'd never spend time with them outside the office, but they were still more than acquaintances. I still DO spend time with people I've worked with over the years - they are GOOD or even BEST friends.

Then there are BESTEST friends :P These are people I've known almost my entire life and they know everything there is to know about me - probably more than they want to know These are people I know I could contact for help no matter what - and they know they could call me. Need some $$$? Not a problem. Need a kidney? I'm there. Need to me to kill your ex....well, I won't answer that one, hehehe.

Then there are OLD friends which are those I used to have a close relationship with, but through the years, we've become further apart

So:

Acquaintance
friend
good friend
best friend
bestest friend
old friend

And there are even some people that are a combination of these, lol!

I also don't dislike anyone based on what they've done BUSINESSWISE to any level of my friends. But do something to them on a PERSONAL level and I'm not very nice.

Confused? I am!! But you made me think and I like that!
