When we were little, my brother got a game one Christmas called "Bing Bang Boing" (or similar). There were heavy silver balls and you had to set the thing up so the ball would go down certain chutes, bounce on rubber drums, etc. At the time, we had a 60 foot long slate foyer. I come from a family of engineers and all Christmas day about 5 of them set that thing up to see how far they could get the ball to travel.
When I first saw that link, I sent it to my brother and Dad and told them that if only my brother had mastered Bing Bang Boing, he'd be in demand.
