That's why I liked my chocolate brown sectional sofa, circa 1975 ... the damn thing was virtually indestructable, and lived through all kinds of dogs, cats, children, parties of all kinds ... I only kept it until 1990 (and one daughter still has the two ottomans - put together they make a great guest bed for friends of my grandson).
If that damn thing could talk, I'd be set for story content well into the next millenium ...
