"nice line I picked up on TV,
USA is the only country where people expect nothing bad to happen.." That's funny that you mention this, Serge...I was struck by the same line last night...and then I thought.. How true is that REALLY? I mean..I have never noticed the people of Canada to be particularly anxious about being attacked or injured in some manner... What doom drops down on the people of Mexico frequently enough that they lie awake at night? I think this theory depends on what you expect "bad to happen" means... US citizens prolly don't expect to have their head chopped off by warriors from the next tribe, but most Iraqi's prolly don't wake up in the morning to find their retirement just got Enron'd... It would be interesting to measure the relative stress levels of nations...I'm sure it's been done....Colin?
