And I wouldnt ever classify you or Rcourt in the same category as Rhetorical. He is a true idiot and there is a reason he has been banned from every board (especially Amateur Masters). As for "banning nick" Nick flipped the switch a couple of times himself. I was a prime candidate because I pointed out all his bullshit and he seriously disliked that. You know the cars, the property, the trips, the seriously junk traffic he pumped up the Oprano numbers with. You think sponsors want to pay for traffic sent from bullshit pharma sites or teeny sites? So now he got the knife. So sad, too bad. What goes around, comes around and we all know he will be back. Its the freeking internet.
However, as for the big players here with big advice. Now that is another story. A lot of these guys made money in the past being barely legal (now illegal) and trashing the adult business to the point it is only now recovering. They were out and out spammers.
So if any one of them started out today, they would be fucked with a capital F. There are only a couple with any modicum of current success.
So the point I would make is who the fuck cares if they stick around or not. It is a brave new world where solid fundamental business principals apply....just like on the high street. The scamming get rich quick days are over. Finito.
There is a whole new generation of smart entrepreneurs that need to be cultivated and that is where the business will come from. Not from the cowboys who tell when we stories that are entertaining but have zero relevance in today's world.
Look at Anthony crowing about making 30K in a month. I would guess he hasn't done that in years. And that is not a lot in the scheme of things. There is a lot of money in porn. Don't listen to those morons who prattle on about their mainstream aspirations. If you even say mainstream, it probably isn't. It most likely is some idiot fake rolex or weird pharma spam scheme.
That is just how I see the world that we live and work in.
There are those who succeed, but there are many, many more who crash and burn. But the opportunities are enormous and this board has the opportunity to cash in on the new talent that is just coming onstream at the moment. WTF would you want to frighten them off with a bunch of irracible old has beens pontificating about the good old days?
