The good thing about having a boat in charter (other than revenue) is that if your charter company has bases in other locations, you can use your "Owner's Time" on another boat...for free. This winter, we will be sailing out of Malaysia for a couple of weeks, and late next Spring, we're booked for 2 weeks out of Greece.

LOL I got pick pocketed in Piraeus..but thats a long story.
The Greek Islands are simply awesome!!! You'll love it!! Great sailing

Years ago one of my companies formed Yacht owning corportations in Guernsey in order to get them British registered and have them run as tax efficent charters , for clients. I advertised in Yachting World etc.. ( pre my foray into slinging porn on the web)

Boats used to my weakness , err..ok so were cars too. LOL

Stink boats though , never got into sailing.

I owned "Lady Valletta" for a while in the early 90s , though it was basically a floating gin palace.

I loved this old boat.
