Backyard astromomers
I'm a bit of a backyard astronomer. I have a big old refractor telescope and can pick up some really interesting things some nights. (sometimes in the middle of the night!)
Here's a good site to check out. It's a sky calendar which tells you what to look for and when. http://www.space.com/spacewatch/sky_calendar.html
