The earliest I can date back, is around 1990 when I was downloading GIF swimsuit images from a BBS called Sonoma Online. Back then, EGA monitors were the latest and greatest. I think they supported 3 or 4 colors. I thought I was a pimp mutha fucker before I went over to a buddy's house not long afterwards, and discovered what VGA looked like! Wow I was simply blown away! I was immensely jeleous. To this day, I'm still amazed.
