I lost all the shade for my bedroom which has a flat roof over it so. The rest of my yard is fine as soon as the ficus and mango that is on the other side get new foliage. I did have the other one trimmed way back.
Hopefully the thicker insulation that I had installed while they were replacing its ceiling will help keep it cool next summer. A Strawberry Tree does sound good. Hopefully it has nice deep roots. lol http://www.floridata.com/ref/a/arbu_une.cfm What really sucks is that when the ficus went down it took a very old very large black olive tree with it. In all I lost three large trees. |
