CT called this AM - he's going to be stationed in Misawa Japan!
 I am THRILLED because this is going to be such a cool experience for him but needless to say a little sad because I won't be a few hours away for visiting  Has anyone been there? In reading up on things it's in the Northern part of Japan and they have winter sports which I know he'll LOVE - and of course all the sushi he can eat. It's an hour away from Tokyo by plane, 3 hours by train. He doesn't leave until next spring so I can still mother him to death between now and then
