When our contract was to expired at UUNet 2½ years ago, and we were talking with their sale reps, then each and everytime we meantion another provider name, then they immediately had "dirt" on them, which they forwarded to us... Scanned news articles, links to news sites, paid consult reports, and just plain board/chat rumors - everything which could be used to hurt the other providers image. UUNet were busy telling us "Provicder A is really bad", "Provider B is even worse" etc. - they actual forgot to sell their own product to us... when we left them, then their last words to us were "you will be back, when you want real service again".... we have not hosted at UUNet/Worldcom since
