But will paysites really want to make thousands of new galleries each and every day, provide design/bandwidth/content for free, and then pay the TGP owner $35 per signup? The math doesnīt add up. Pay the TGP owner $15-20 per signup from Hosted Galleries, and paysites will be able to make this work for both the TGP owner and Paysite.
Nothing is free, someone got to pay the bill, and in old days with tgp submiters, then they paid for the design/bandwidth/content - not the paysites (yes, we know about free content and free hosting provided by paysites, but most of this was lowend and either the free host was banned from the tgp or the content was so overexposed that everyone had seen it 10 times before and it didnīt get listed). Would it be any different with Hosted Galleries delivered by paysites - the same costs, but now TGP owners can take part of profit from traffic, and not just give it away for free. How many paysite owners would like to pay $35 for a signup from ex. Russia, which came from a hosted gallery, where the paysite also paid for the design/bandwidth/content.... No matter how much volume you make and costs get lower, then this will be a bad deal... pps paysites will start to filter off the bad converting countries, and webmasters start to see even worse conversions and complain about shaving etc. I would expect conversions to fall atlest 40%, if all paysites had hosted galleries, where they paid top dollars per signup, and also paid for the design/bandwidth/content. Hosted galleries is a great concept, but the current payouts by most paysites are to high, and if they continue then it will have a negativ effect on both paysites and tgp owners.
