Wizzo, I think even if program operators of nowadays read this, they still woudln't go this route.. SO MANY PEOPLE in this business are purely home bound, seriously... Many are afraid to talk on the phone/skype for christs sakes - Not the kind of person I would want to do business with...

I hear you... and I prefer to do biz that way, it's great when we fly a good affiliate down to Florida or somewhere for a few days RnR or go visit their operation. Or the few affiliates that I talk on the phone with regular.

But on the other side, I have a few affiliates that don't like "special or personalized" treatment. For example, we are doing the Redneck Getaway as a way of saying thanks and getting to know our top affiliates better. I have one guy that we would easily pay for his whole trip(1st class if he wanted), but he told me other than talking on ICQ, he doesn't want to build anymore contact than that, just because it might skew his ability to make sound judgments about us. Which I can understand, but I don't believe it's the best way...
