Strippers get naked for older people

Some 45 residents of a care home in Cape Town got a surprise when they were entertained by two female strippers yesterday morning.

Radio presenter Dangerboy organised the show for residents of Murundi House as "a marketing ploy" to raise awareness about the needs of older people, local paper Die Burger reports.

A doctor was on standby when Amelia and Sasha danced for the audience of 30 men and 15 ladies.

Only one lady decided to excuse herself, whereas the rest seemingly enjoyed the performance.

One of the male residents planted a cheeky kiss on the bottom of one of the strippers. The doctor's services were never needed and he reportedly enjoyed the show with the residents.

The event was brought to the rest of the nation via 5fm's airwaves. Dangerboy told Die Burger that it was hoped that the Old School is Cool welfare association would benefit from raised awareness following the risqué show.

Very true. One of the absolute worst things about retaining the ability to grow old is that younger people think you turn into some sort of different species, no longer interested in or capable of the things you did while younger.

One of the greatest remarks about being old and sex was a response to the question "when do people get too old for sex?" The response was when the coffin lid is nailed closed.

My siblings used to be absolutely mortified that my parents went at it with great vigor, even though they had teenage then college age kids. I always thought my siblings suffered from poor reality testing.

I knew a woman in St. Louis who was involved in belly dancing, and they used to do four shows a year at the local VA Hospital. They raised holy hell when somebody (born again bozette on the staff at the hospital, they thought) tried to stop them from coming in.
