Years ago I tired atkins and lost 30 pounds in 2 months pretty easy. Recently I tired it and kept my carbs at 20 grams. After 3 weeks the scale barely moved. I don't know whats up with that.

The past year or so, since I've had this farm, I have been walking a lot more and that makes a huge difference. Going down to the creek is a rolling hill so coming back up you really feel it. I can't lose weight unless I walk or workout.

I also noticed this last time I tired it an dropped my carbs that I wasn't feeling good. I get tired easy and I don't sleep well. I wonder if its because I'm older.

I am doing this abetterlife.com diet which isn't fast weight loss, which I'm not really looking for, but a total life plan. Whole grains, no processed sugars, etc. When I just eat healthy and regular I feel really good.

the first week to 10 days was rough. Going thru sugar and carb withdrawls.

after that I lost most all my cravings for sweets and carbs.

Im now back into the gym lifting trying to bulk up a bit and cut my fat %

Something you weren't thinking about is sneaking in some carbs on you. Use test strips to see if you're in ketosis, if you're not, you're getting carbs from somewhere.

That's part of what I hate about atkins, there's very little room for error.

it was actually very easy for me. just kept my carb count to below 25g a day for induction

if you know what you can and cannot eat then you should have no problems
