Curious - Those of you doing well for yourself in ADULT - If you are in non adult great... I have no qualms with that and commend you but this applies solely to people in Adult, or deriving a great amount of their income from Adult and still actively running businesses.

What do you see as the top 3 most important qualities in an adult webmaster ?

What do you see as the single most destructive quality ?

This applied to more of people who are running their businesses now and losing them or makign them succeed rather than it does to new people entering the business (or people re-entering)

3 most important qualities:

Persistence
Ability to learn and pick up new ideas quickly
Networking

I think without those 3 I for one would be dead in the water now.

For me personally (as a TGP submitter) I came to the business completely green and had no idea how long it would take to start seeing some cash come back for my efforts. So for me so far the most destructive aspect would be losing faith in yourself and thinking, "Fuck it, this isn't working".

Maybe that's another characteristic which helps, the ability to have the balls to take a chance at trying something new and being patient about seeing the reward.

The three most important in my opinion:

1: Remembering it’s really business, not a game.

2: Knowing what’s going on in your business: too many hire people then sit back or go fucking off. They don’t stay up to date on what’s going on. They need their hands on.

3: Good customer service

The most destructive are the ones who get caught up in the game forgetting it’s a real business like any other business. Sure it has perks and I keep my foot in it mainly because I find it exciting, HOWEVER I’ve seen a bunch of them get caught up in pussy, drugs, the “networking” & “Big Man” ego shit, that they forget why they are there in the first place.

You can be a personality, network, promote, etc. without letting people all up in your business and being seen in fucked up situation. Fuck up once and it could cost you everything. Keep an arm’s distance from everyone except your inner circle which takes years to develop. Be patient.

I like you. I have good feelings about you. You’re not a cocky arrogant wanna be weenie like a lot of them out there.
