Is there anything there besides the ruins?

I have always heard that Belize is a good retreat, but pretty dull after a couple of days, if you want to do much besides snorkling. What is your opinion?

Fay, we haven't gone to the beach or islands.
Ruins is my passion, gives me a hard on to walk over the sites/people who ruled the world 600 years ago and now are long gone...

I've got 7 years until the Princess is in college, and I'll be free to see all the "boring" places *I* always want to visit when we go on vacations. Serge, perhaps you, Sue, Rob & I can go traipse some ruins & boneyards then.

As a bonus, you'll be able to post some pictures of you & Sue TOGETHER in such an awesome location!

Just an observation.

You have the same expression on your face with all the pics. Many of us do that.

My suggestion.....

Save the one pose and paste it in front of different backrounds.

You'll get less frequent flyer miles....but you can travel much faster.
