No..mailing isn't easy

Why is it people assume that sending mail is a fast easy way to make money?

Just because you can send an email to your mum and CC it to Uncle Bob in Utah doesn't make you a mailer.

As I am sure any of the serious mailers can attest these days mailing has to be a precise and well planned activity. You just can't buy a 10 million email list from some shady hacker online and run it through Dark Mailer. In today's climate you need to be a marketer, lawyer, book keeper and techie all rolled into one.

Clean lists and the ability to keep them clean are imperative, because otherwise you won't be able to get so much as a sentence through to the any ISP worth reaching. Does getting a spam like this really inspire confidence in your company?

That labels you as either dyslexic or a spammer and people are wise to that these days.

And for those of you thinking that sending through proxies is the easy way to avoid blacklists, don't be suprised when the Federal government comes knocking at your door.

There is only one way to run a successful, legal, efficient mail campaign and that's to target the customers who have expressed interest in your product and ensure that you don't "spam" those that aren't. This is not an easy task, and if you try and fail you aren't a mailer, you are a spammer.

There's no 2 hour nightschool class on mailing you can take and be making millions the next day. As with any venture it's learning and experience that can only be developed through practice and hard work.

To stop them and change them to you would require prepay.

I must make sure the lists are clean and legal, once tat is determined and a relationship is established between myself, and the fully legal compliant mailer.

I will prepay for 200 - 500 joins at a time. at an agreed upon price on an individual basis .

and since I can offer a clean server to a clean mailer I will even throw one in and pick up their costs of Bandwith and ardware too.

I am looking for someone that is clean and interested in making long term money ( short timers or people looking to scam me need not reply)

So you will determine if the lists are clean. How exactly do you plan on doing that? Just wondering, since you seem to have zero experience in mailing?

As for making long term money... Good luck on finding someone mailing for rev share. There's a better chance I have a 14 inch penis than that ever happening.

You think you are the only good sponsor? Dude, we spend thousands and thousands of dollars, at AVN shows, Internext, Players Balls, banners on boards, have a huge ass team that posts. This isn't something you just rush into. Congratulations, you may have just signed the death warrant for your sites.

First Truisms:

There is no such thing as a clean list. You will always have someone who forgets they opt'ed in. It only takes a few complaints to shut down your servers. You should know this, as my servers got shut down by your hosting company off of 3 complaints from people I had full OPT in information of, down to their home address and phone numbers.

Care to go on thinking Mail is the salvation of your program?

Despite what they say, ISPs don't care about opt in or whether you are a legitimate mailer or whatever....the bottom line is complaints. And these days if you get more than 3 or 4 a month they'll take your server down for good. Now even in a "clean" list of 50,000 a few people like that aren't hard to find.
