Is there a thread or more info on this that explains the laws/rules clearly? It doesn't make sense. Does it require double opt in? Does that mean 2 steps, add their name then email verfication?
From what I read people are to include name & address of the company transmitting? Meanwhile I have to put spam blocker on to filter hundreds on none complying emails per day. Any help on this? I have newsletters and even though they sign up they forget and I don't want to get fined for doing my business. Thanks DV

Dianna,
the laws only apply to spam. not to double optin or even single optin email lists. the new law legalized spam and provided details on how you can spam without breaking the law.
