Low Turnout At Cybernet Expo
by D.U.C. (send email to D.U.C.) Only a few dozen webmasters made it to the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas for the Cybernet Expo. As a retailing event, it was poor. The seminars were ok. The partying was great. How long can the Cybernet Expo go on? The event seem's to have lost its lustre. AVN now controls this game. It used to be one of the best shows. Now you could walk in and in the wink of an eye be done with the whole thing. The Tropicana is a horrible hotel. XXX says: I saw Howard Stern's producer Gary Delabarte. People showed up to the show and were disappointed and went out and did their own thing. The Rob Goulds (Babenet) and Yishai's of the world stayed at the Venetian and kept to themselves. Ron Levi showed up for one day. There were a lot of fat porn webmasters at the show. Porsche Lynn and her husband Angus are good people. They operate www.porschelynn.com. She's about 45 years old now. I think HBO's Cathouse special, set at Dennis Hof's Bunny Ranch near Reno, is going to be the highest rated cable special ever. It's the most real America undercover I've ever seen. They put cams in the brothels. You'll see a mom taking her son in there to get his cherry popped to married couples. It's surreal. You see Divine Brown's pimp (hooker who was arrested for blownig Hugh Grant) come in and try to steal a chick. Dennis Hof is a consumate professional and a grade A media whore. Steve Seidman, formerly of Adult Stars Magazine, now works for the Bunny Ranch. He lives next to the ranch in Carson City. Living on the ranch sounds good. You have your food prepared. Clothes brought in. They take you to the doctor once a week. But Carson City? I went to a sports book one night because Steve had to place some bets and there were little old ladies with grey hair playing slot machines and smoking cigarettes and listening to Merle Haggard. Dennis gave me a shirt that read "Hookers are better than wives - they're more honest." And I thought that is so true. It's just a legitimate fun thing. Did I get comped? I can't say. Let's put it this way. Dennis took good care of me. Then I looked at myself. What have I become? Is this really the Jewish ideal? Hookers over wives? I wonder what the Talmud has to say about this. Dennis Hof is getting his websites together. |
