What was your previous job?
I'm just curious about everyone's backround. I was a Human Resources Manager before I started working on the net, I have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Relations and Business. I can't say I miss my old job very much, I've met some great people and I enjoy working from home. How about you?

Re: What was your previous job?
Bring on the jokes, but I was in the Canadian Military for almost 15 years.
I served all over Canada, Norway, and 4 years with NATO in Germany. It was a great experience. Taught me a lot.

Re: What was your previous job?
I've done so many things. Got a degree in theater arts and worked with a theater troupe in Philly for a few years. I supplemented that income by working in an adult store as one of the girls in a glass booth that men could talk dirty to for $1 a minute.
Marriage put an end to both acting jobs and I headed out into corporate America. I worked for a few years in corporate sales of audio visual and presentation products. The first time I moved to FL, I managed my parents small chain of women's clothing and accessory stores until daddy decided I should have something for myself and gave me money to start my own business. I opened an ice cream parlor, which did so well that daddy thought I should expand, so we took the empty store next to us, knocked down the walls and put in a bakery. When I mentioned to my father, that even though I was a good baker, I was not a professional at it, so he sent me to school. I loved my little business until the hours and constant standing on my feet, gave me a blood clot in the leg, so we hate to close up shop. And then a few years ago I appeased my mid-life crisis by going back to school. I got my degree in Pharmacy technology and worked at the University of Louisville hospital making up the I.V. drugs and part tome teaching pharmacology, dosages and calculations and anatomy and physiology at the local career college. One of these days I'm going to decide what I want to be when I grow up. |

Re: What was your previous job?
I have a bachelors in business and marketing. I sold advertising premiums while in school and worked a few nights a week at a dry cleaners. I merged into promotions as a shoot off from selling imprinted every-damn-thing. I handled mostly hotels, restaurants, clubs, resorts and radio station. I did very well but was bored. Dabbled with professional domination… then got seriously into adult producing videos, magazines, phone sex lines and eventually adult internet. Now I’m a farmer! My life long dream. |

Re: What was your previous job?
My working life started as a Window Dresser and progressed ?! to reconditioning used cars, owning/managing service stations and mechanical workshops to owning/managing a Sports Centre and Video Shops, where I discovered computers...the more I learned about them the more I liked the darn things - so much more logical that the people I dealt with on a daily basis. So off to uni I went and did an IT Degree, which lead me to working in mainstream web development and then on to the darkside :-)
From here .. who knows ;-)

Re: What was your previous job?
As I've mentioned before I was a general entrepreneur ....anything that made money.
Entrepreneur? (I know pushpills is always interested in the details LOL) At various times had interests in a Classic Car garage , pubs , clubs , restaurants , car parks , caravan park , scrap metal yard ....you name it lol. Best "earners" were... Property developing in the UK...buy a house tart it up sell it /divide it into flats sell them.Buy a house with sitting tennants.Charm the tenants out..sell it My first job sorta related to computers was persuading pubs in Britain to install our game machines on a partnership basis. HUGE money in that. It does give you a half assed background in various businesses and it is always fun |
