Hi All,
I am hoping for some advice / feedback on where to buy some Inline Goal Skates for my son. He is a mad Ice Hockey Fan, however there is not much call for that in Australia, so he plays Inline and believe it or not it is more economical to buy the skates in the US and have them shipped over. So if anyone can offer some ideas I would be appreciative. Ta HB

hehehe
Sorry Serge I sometimes forget, and just fall back to Australianisms. Inline Hockey is the equilivent to Ice Hockey without the Ice, the players wear Inline Roller Skates and play on rollerskating rinks. I should have probabily clarified it by saying Inline Roller Hockey perhaps ? as I am not sure what it is called in the states Last edited by HoneyBlond at Jun 8 2003, 01:38 PM

It's called roller hockey here too
![]() Sorry I can't help on a skate source though... My kids got theirs through a local skate shop.... Doesn't the roller rink have a skate shop that can bring them in for him ?

Goalie skates are a bit different. they are just flatter, more for balance standing still and side to side motion instead of forward / back. They also let you be a little closer to the ground i think to not allow the ball or puck to get below your pads as you are standing.
This is the link to the online store. http://www.redmtnsports.com/cart/index.html This is the direct link but it takes you out of the site grames. Top pair is the goalie skates. They are offernig free shipping on them too lol I wonder fi it applies to non-us residents. http://www.redmtnsports.com/cart/hockey_skates.html If you dont want to buy there check out links from: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navc...e+goalie+skates |
