Just got an email from Aga, I assume to all Netpond threaded board users, Inviting me to join in the action here at Oprano.

It's not usual that the boards cross -promote.

what response can Oprano advertisers expect from a banner or button in the flash up above? Do you consider it more for branding or for direct results?

What type of sponsor ad produces the most results?

after that it's a message:

I think it's awesome to see two boards working together for a change. From what I'm hearing I'm not the only one who's sick of the segregation of this industry. You have to go to at least 4-5 boards to see everyone - it's about time two of the board titans get together and bring back the spirit of community that our industry has been so sorely lacking.

What's next? A Netpond/Oprano party? Maybe we can add a 3rd?

I've been offline for a few days with a nasty harddrive crash...
so I haven't had a chance to check email yet...but I come to this board every day anyways....

Each board has it's uses and charms
here are the old school players...NetPond...once a NetPond official, always a NetPonder ;) and GFY is good for pissing around and being an asshole...PJ's is fine for just general conversations...and XN...well, Evil Chris has his own unique charm ;)))
