Yeah well when I was in school (not college but school age 10 - 16)

We played American football without any padding.... but I'm sure we called it rugby

The absolutely most demanding job in college football is coming up in a few years. It will be the head coaching job at Penn State when Joepa retires. He's been hinting that this might be his last year. You would have to be nuts to take that job or an egomaniac. If the person that replaces him doesn't win right away they will be crucified by the fans. Paterno's been there forever and is literally a god around here. Couldn't pay me enough to take that job.

to get a idea what PS will go though just look bama from '81 till now,it's hard to lose a legend.

No doubt, I wouldn't have wanted to replace the Bear. PSU needs to do something soon though because Paterno is killing them with recruiting. Kids don't want to go there now because they don't know how long he's going to be the coach. The top recruits around here are going to Michagan, Ohio State, Miami, etc. now which really sucks because we have great football talent here.

It's not college sports, but the most demanding job in sports is refereeing a kid's game. After years of watching parents go absolutely freaking NUTS at kid's games, you'd have to pay me millions to ref one.
