Many times in subdivisions and downtown areas there is so much cement there is no place for the water to go.

A slow moving storm like this that dumps a lot of rain is bad, but will not kill NO.


What would kill NO would be a catagory 5 hurricaine moving UP the river, and it would not be the rain that would kill the city, nor the winds, but the storm surge. It could push a wall of water up the river 20 feet high, into the city and lake Ponchatrain, which would breach and break all the levees...

If this storm was a cat 4 or 5, I would be hitching up my truck and getting the hell out...

IDS, it will vary greatly for people who use it. There are people sending tiny bits of traffic and making tons, then there are people who just slam it with loads of hits and may have lower than expected signups.
RRRED and I both used this program when it was in beta and we did fantastic off goto traffic, and just so so off adult. But by making tiny changes in the site design we were able to see what the surfer liked and didn't. At first I threw all my traffic at a full page ad and it was good, but soon fell off a bit. Now I send traffic to a full blown phone site and link the signup to IDS and it does much better.
I know everyone on the IDS team is working very hard so you get the most out of your traffic.
We originally started with Sprint as the carrier, but have changed now to AT&T because billing and orders processed are moving faster.
Like SusieS said, IDS is constantly changing to stay ahead. We are now going to offer a webmaster brokerage system. This will allow you to get other webmasters signed up under you and you can even set their payouts while making a percentage off their sales. We have lots more changes coming down the pipe to stay ahead of the game also.

Anyway, I hope you don't take this as a spam Mike, I just wanted to mention a few things about the program. Everyone have a productive day...back to work! hehe
