Someone asked about evidence eliminator, I make money with it every month even after they raised the prices, I send about 20 hits a day to it and I have had atleast 9 sales a month not a lot but then I am not a big guy hehehe,

I have personally used the software and I like it, works well.

Shoks phone program I have been using for awhile but haven't had much luck with it.

Before discussing the issues brought up, Last month CleanBrowser.com did 1:236 across the board.

Couple of Key Issues, when I first started beta testing the program I assumed a great product like that, with a heavy pitch had to get killer conversions regardless of how I sent the traffic. I pumped 40K NA redirected clicks to the site a day and got very few sales. Went back to my old layout with a Pop up and all of a sudden I was doing 1:132.
Point i'm making here regardless of what we're selling it always comes down to how we target the sale, i've seen big differences in conversions by the type of Text Links people are putting up there also.
It's a tough call to generalize a programs conversion ratios based on a couple of webmasters experiences, both good or bad : )

Webfather, I have a similar set up as yours at Linkster.com. We do about 40K clicks there and I went to a PoP Up ad, don't lose clicks unless a surfer is really interested and we're doing about 1:210 from that site.

You did something similar to what I had tried with the redirect, that always makes it harder to convert, with my exp. the same traffic Redirected gets 0 signs, and with the right ad makes a drastic change.

please bear with me if I'm not quite coherent yet. I've only been awake long enough to make a pot of morning caffine, and I'm running on very little sleep. My temper, which I kept in check here last night, refused to let me sleep after I got off the computer.

I've been debating how to handle writing the overnight summary. I hate to feed the ego of an asshole by giving him the recognition and publicity his unjustifiably inflated ego craves. On the other hand, my altercation with said asshole did make up the majority of the overnight activity, so I will have to write something about it.

I will attempt to do my job by reporting the events as unbiasedly as possible. Not once will I use the term "pondscum", or the phrase "attacking women to compensate for your inadequacies in penis size." I will try to be objective and not let the actions of a classless, adolescent
mentality interfere with my reporting.

On another note, could someone please tell me what business Hooper owns. I seriously have no idea what program is his and I want to make sure that I nor anyone I know, ever sign up for it.

Well i'm having the same problems with
evidence eliminator and softwarebucks. Trying
both programs right now.
Many ad impressions, very few clickthrus and zero
sales to both programs.
Doesn't look too promising just yet.

However....Shoks IDS cellular phone program
looks very promising.
again few clickthrus from ads but high signups..
only 600clicks sent...12 applications submitted,
6 pending deposits. Still no revneues but if
I get half my submitted applications to convert
to deposits...well that will work out nicely.

on the auto fill links in the taglines (which an awesome value added feature for the sponsor) why not have an "Oprano Approved" or "Gold Sponsor" in front of the actual text (something short that says its a company you like) so that the readers can identify which is oprano based ...

Its actually getting quite confusing to see some url's next to people's names ... and I know how pissed I'd be if Hooper had my link in his tag!

Just an idea... I think with a well thought out way to separate the poster from the company in the tag line could really help the confusion :-)

It's called marketing.
You must realize when you promote a program that has or had a 30 dy trial you cant expect squat till the ending evaluation days.

Many webmaster on our program have changed that rule even at our 99$ price..

its just like a paysite offering a trial membership instead of just a flat out buy.

We now have mulitple payouts, multiple trial periods and multilple buy prices. it's called diversifying.

SunTzu we did a test on one of our mailers for http://softwarebucks.com We did like 1 in 120, which is not to shabby at all. OF coure not many people clicked on the ad, but the ones who did were interested.

I beleive this is potentialy a great revenue stream for people to put up on their sites. If done right, one would not loose many surfers but gain valueable sales.

One thing the softwarebucks guys might think about doing is setting up a program that would return your traffic back to your site if the surfer did not buy. I know I would send them much more traffic that way.

As Alien said, it is a good product to sell to porn surfers.

Over at MajorHost we had a discussion on marketing mainstream ( non-adult) products on top of our adult free hosting. It was always my conclusion that when offered a good deal, porn surfers are like anyone else. Porn surfers brush their teeth, buy clothes, and need other services ( domain names) so might as well advertise main stream on adult. It worked out better then I thought, though it still does not pay as much as adult.

If it is narrowly targeted non-porn products ( Viagra, Herbalo type products, credit cards, etc... ) can be very successful.
