I could definitely see the FTC acting on this.

I think a key point is where Ralph Nader draws a parallel to infomercials.

The FTC, after getting many complaints like Nader's, required TV stations to clearly inform the viewer that the programs were not normal broadcast entertainment but actually paid programming.

I don't think it would be a reach at all for them to act in a similar manner on this issue.

On a side note: Have you ever seen AOL's disclaimer for the paid GoTo listing? They say everything short of "Don't click this link!"

While it may be beating a dead horse, I beleive Rav Share programs have an ethical and moral obligation to keep their programs running for all the webmasters they have built their business.
