If you have a CC tour page, you might want to add a link to the dialer page for "no credit card" people.

If you have an "access denied" page, you definitely want to pop up a dialer page and make money on that surfer.

How many times does a person talk about receiving GOOD service as opposed to BAD service? Maybe it would be best to do multiple followups but I don't have a staff of 20-30 people that I can delegate stuff like that too.

Average retention? Depending on our sites, anywhere from 2.5-6 months.

Personally, I've never used dialers because I don't want people running up $2000 phone bills by accessing my sites. If they are implemented in a way that will avoid that I may give them a try.

As our programs are all 60/40 partnerships, we don't bother our paying customers UNTIL they quit. We then email them as a followup asking the reasons as to why they quit and invite them to join a competetors site. Since they've already quit, there's no harm in trying to make one last sale.
As for keeping their emails for future spamming, that's something we just don't do. It will only lead to pissing off your affiliates who in turn provide a good chunk of our business.

Lee, I have held back my opinion of your slander website. While I have dissapointingly only made it up there a few times, I think the very nature of the board is harmful for this indsutry. To be run by someone who has been around, and who considers herself a "leader" and "Playetter" of the industy makes it even sader.

What is the exact status of busty amateurs? I have a woman that submits several sites a day to me to review that still have BA banners on them. When you click on them you go to a page that has no way to join but does have a members entrance. This is living proof that webmasters get dumber every day.

Webfather, how does the T-Bird handle? I'm curious because it's supposed to be on the same frame, same engine/transmission, dash layout as the Lincoln LS and Jag S-Type. My wife has an LS and loves it. I think its great but the steering is a bit too sensitive and I dont like the brakes. But all in all handles and feels alot like a 5 series bmw. The sound system is excellent. I was really surprised Lincoln built a car that can compete with the European models so well. Did your T-birds come with 2 tops?

There are some really shady 50/50 programs out there. I signed up for one recently and I violated one of my own rules in doing so. I didn't join the site before promoting it. I sent a bunch of joins and NONE recurred. When I finally joined the site I found out why. All the video feeds were free ones with upsells, the content was lame and there wasn't much of it, etc. Basically, encourage the surfer to cancel and then start e-mailing them about this great site we found. Good deal for the site owner, they made 1.75 and they got the e-mail address that they can spam forever. Bad deal for the webmaster since they make $1.77 for someone that actually did whip out the credit card. It's not a bad business model if you are an effective spammer.

how do your programs work with adult traffic?

Because our demographics are completely different than adult (adult = 95% MALE; PWeb= 90% FEMALE), conversions on adult traffic isn't too hot. So, if you have traffic that is predominately WOMEN, you will be astounded by the conversions! Also, some people with targetted domain traffic (like psychic/horoscope/tarot-related domains), are doing better than 1:100 consistantly!
BUT, you never know..... our mouse-trap is very good and the "curiosity factor" many times is enough to convert some adult traffic, so it is worth trying because we are a pay-per-signup proggy!
