Okay Headless!

How about a bit of a history lesson. There wouldn't have been a Sharky show without me.

I was the other half of that show "duh" and built the infrastructure that was the first windows media radio setup (you remember, you guys ripped that idea off too). I was the one that brought the advertising model to the show and was also the one who saved quite a few shows when Sharky couldn't keep it going.

So don't worry.. I don't HAVE to give myself too much credit.. and I certainly don't take Serge's opinion as a slight because I was the guy that turned Sharky's show around.

As for my content bubbles, I think the major factor is uniqueness. Customers are looking for something unique that they don't see all over the place. In this case, since my sites are Adult Check Gold, you know that there are other sites they could sign up at that would probably have the same images. However, put my site next to another with the same images, you ALSO get those content bubbles, plus a bunch of other full-sized sections of material that isn't available elsewhere. Competitive edge.

IT could be just that older companies have to devote too much time to maintaining old product, and sacrifice vision and new ideas for steady money-makers.

What content would surfers miss the most... well, I have an unusual answer for this. I recently added a lot of in-house developed non-adult material to my sites. For example, when a surfer views the fullsize version of a pic, it's surrounded by four boxes that show randomly selected pieces of info in four categories: "Goofy Ass Laws," "Household Tips," "Bizarre Holidays" (you know, like National Pork Day or whatever), and the best one, "Buddhist Wisdom."

I've received more complimentary email about the Buddhist Wisdom and Goofy Ass Laws "bubbles" than anything else I've EVER put on my sites, adult or non-adult. One guy said he sat for a half hour reloading the page, reading all the different Buddhist Wisdom quotes (maybe I converted him??? :D).

So there you go. Sometimes, it's the least likely thing that'll catch surfers' eyes. In this case, I think it's the uniqueness of the feature. Developed in-house, nobody else has it. And I advertise it on the outside of my sites.

The big boys by being so conservative these days are giving an opportunity to smaller companies to grow and become big themselves. Not too smart in my book.

Example.....when my $2 million day trading account sunk below $1 million it was upsetting and depressing. When the same account broke the $1 million mark on the way back up.....I was celebrating.

Point is the same number with a total different reaction. If you allow this to cloud your business judgement it is a VERY bad thing. Then you get conservative and that is a mistake because it was taking RISK that got you to the top to begin with.

So the biggest players are now responsible for making their own competition cuz the small guy is STILL taking risk and the big guy is not.

Just my take....
