The billing company business is now supporting probably (a guess) 20 times as many webmasters ... hell, maybe 50 times if ya count EVERYONE who does a 'little service' for the adult internet

everyone knows what the webmaster community will bear, and they keep to those numbers.
as with any deregulated industries, the money gravitates towards those at the top.

while the 3rd party processor/webmaster relationship does not strongly resemble that of manager/pleb in a larger organisation (from fast food to primary industries, like corporate farming), there is a polarisation of incomes.
those at the bottom mae little, those at the top make heaps, while the expanding structure of this relationship all but eleminates the mid levels through consolidation of skills, i.e, starting to do them in house at lower costs. ofcourse the highly competitive nature of the industry makes it easy to do this.

well, any thoughts?

1) Shaving
2) Cross Billing, someone joins one site, and gets billed for multible sites. ( SilverCash, and CE are not the only ones who do this. It is rampant in this indsutry) What I find amusing is, with crossbilling programs should be paying webmasters MORE.
3) More programs generating their own traffic ( Spam?)
4) higher prices for sites

athens doesn't seem to be a great place for the gams in a few ways, mainly because of where its located, the pollution can really build up without any real winds to break it up.
