I may be cynical but i'm usually right when i smell a rat. Soon as I heard that a CBS employee had tested positive for anthrax this morning i immediately smelled something rotten.

Now it appears that this person was in Dan Rather's office. Oh gee, who didn't see that coming? Just saw the old kook on TV bravely telling America that he has no plans to be tested for anthrax at this point in time. Ya know these maniacs who run the networks are just sleazy enough to infect one of their own employees and then fabricate a story that the infected employee had been in contact with the star anchorman.
Actually I wouldn't put it past Rather to buy some of the low grade anthrax and spread it all over his face like Tony Montana with the coke in Scarface to go one better than Brokaw.

Dan Rather is a kook. I wait patiently for him to do a full scale Howard Beale from the movie Network freak out on air before he retires or they haul him away. It will happen. Missed a great opportunity for a meltdown when the anthrax letter went to Tom Brokaw instead of Dan.

I remember an interview with some famous media guy on Tom Snyer or Bob Costas, I think it might have been David Halberstam, and they were talking about Rather in Vietnam as a young reporter. It was really funny ...... all the other famous war reporters thought he was a nut, he showed up in full military gear like he was a soldier or something while all the other reporters were wearing reporters clothes like regular pants and sneakers.

Hard to believe he's 70 tho. Even harder to believe Mike Wallace is like 103. Harry Reasoner would have been 138 today if he was still living.

A south side man accused of carrying out an anthrax hoax at a Wal-Mart Monday was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.

Christopher Paul Nadolny was charged with marching into the store with a bandanna covering the lower half of his face and a bag in each hand and announcing, "Don't mind me. I just have anthrax."

The name of the game is sales, so the more you market to the surfer the better chance your site has of getting him. Clean and simple tour, I'd recommend softcore pics (we haven't made it mandatory but we may at some point, if not softcore then blurred out XXX) and see what that brings.

The algorhythym that drives the exit consoles is based on conversions and retentions separately to determine the exposure amounts per tour or backend. This prevents someone from coming in with a ton of junk and getting lots of eyeballs with quantity instead of quality.

You can make multiple tours for the same backends, which is good if you want to try new ideas and see if they will convert without making major changes to what works now for you.

Let me know if that gets you started :)
