That's a tough question Serge.
In certain countries cancer patients who are terminal aren't told they are going to die for certain. It used to be like that in the US and Canada too. Now it is standard for doctors to give out exact prognosis unless there is some other factors present.

If there was biological attack, and really there wasn't anything anybody could do to save themselves, i'd still like a day to at least ponder the end, make some phone calls, bury my porn collection in somebody's backyard, that kind of thing
