I can understand your perspective, Mike, believe me, I can. And if I were in your shoes with dollars at stake, I might feel much like you do. However, knowing what I know about what Jim had to GIVE UP in order to start VIP-ID, and knowing what I know about the type of person he is and the caliber of people he had with him, I think that out and out trashing him when he's put in print that he's going to pay what's owed and then two months additional is jumping the gun. And I don't get the impression that additional IDs are going to be sold; it sounds like it'll be kept open until existing IDs are wound out.

Now, have I ever been wrong? Of course. And if I'm wrong on this case, I'll be the first to admit it. Just my perspective as an outside observer.

Jim responded saying his programer had quit, so he had some other people working on the stats working the bugs out and that is was a mere inconvenience.

Throb X - I do not know VIP-Jims business, but I hav a strong feeling that he knew the writing on the wall MUCH sooner then he sent out an e-mail.

Infact I have e-mails going back and forth with him and my staff talking about how he was busy, visting family, etc.. etc.. There were small problems he was fixing. NO WHERE DID HE SAY THERE WERE CATOSTROPHIC PROBLEMS...

Now I understand Jim was in a tough spot - ship is sinking, maybe you can save it, do I tell the crew and passengers or not?

If he tells everyone leaves the ship - so at the end even if he saved the ship, he would not longer have passangers.

I was in a spot like that a few months ago with a friend - it was not a huge deal - but I made the tough phone call to give a heads up. Ask KC - he will tell you.
