2Much.net
In July 2007 after some extensive phone conversations with Mark Prince at 2Much.net I entered into an agreement to buy a license for their Rev Share 1 License. I paid a total $4650 for via a wire transfer ( they do not accept credit card payments ) via two payments.
Being a "newbie' in the adult business possessing only a catchy domain name ( AssWorshippers.com ) my main interest was in 2Much.net's "MBase" system. The mBase system allows members of their "LiveCamNetwork" an ability to share each others cam models. In theory this allows a newcomer to the industry the ability to focus on marketing and not recruiting cam models. Sounded great. I did not know what my market focus should be given the domain name AssWorshippers.com. Mark and his staff educated me on the male side of the business. Adding terms to my vocabulary like "boy next door" type. Mark assured me his most successful site as male gay based and there would be plenty of male models to choose from. After making the second installment of $4650 I was told my site would be ready once the credit card companies approved the site. Thirty days later I called 2Much since I had not heard from the. Mark said he would look into the status of my site. He called me back and told me it had been approved "some time ago" and that my user name and password to MBase had been sent. My thoughts were someone at their offices simply dropped the ball and never notified me. I won't go through every incident but it was becoming increasingly apparent to me that this company was not someone I wanted to do business with. Lousy web design, emails and phone calls not returned, etc. I never went through the mBase training with their staff. My feeling was that I had made a mistake. If you look at 2Much.net's mBase enabled websites you will see there are rarely more than 3 at most models live at any given time available to chat with. It seemed to me this company made their money selling licenses. Shame on me. I asked Mark Prince for a refund or a partial refund. Mark then did what I like to call "lawyer - ed up" meaning he became very defensive , angry and adversarial. He made it clear that there would be no refund, partial or otherwise. About 45 days later I received a call from a fellow 2Much.net licensee telling me that Mark told her that she could no longer add men to the MBase system. This is in direct contradiction to what Mark told me. Since male models are the "inventory" of my business I am out of business without them. After this conversation I decided that I had made a major mistake. The licensee had shared with me her problems with 2Much.net and I was not willing to throw good money after bad. Three months later I received a certified letter from 2Much.net demanding payment for "$516.89 with interest" with an accompanying threat to send this debt to collections. These fees are for fraud detection services, CC Bill sub account fees and technical support. This for a site that has never had a single customer. The site is now down and as a matter of principal I will not pay Mark Prince or 2Much.net one more penny. Ever. In my many conversations with Mark Prince I told him I was going to expose his firm. Mark's response was that he had lawyers to deal with this. I asserted to Mark and continue to assert that in this instance the truth would work just fine. Folks when you deal with 2Much.net please make sure you have an attorney very closely look at your contract. Wait, better yet, if you are considering 2Much.net's LiveCamNetwork just ask them for a list of all of thier live sites. Then see how many live models are working. |

As Ive posted elsewhere....
I would NEVER buy a turnkey leased system. Too many games someone can play when you dont have root access and you want to give them control of your billing too?

Re: 2Much.net
Wow... just remember the best things in life are free'ish, or at least don't cost a lot... somewhere around $20 - $40 a month recurring.
