I dont get it.
If he cant get it up, why would a guy even want to wank? No need to buy porn or Viagra then.
Sabby
I'm thinking most people buying viagra online dont really need it.
It's handy to keep a little blue pill around even if you have no problems in that area. Never know when you might not be able to find a hammer and have some nails you need to drive.
Hey Nick! we are looking for some pharmacy links on all our 4free sites and daily mailers...i would rather have a set deal than to worry about joining this site and that site....

Nick is on to what could be an excellent $$ maker
TGP's for mass traffic
and sell everything else under the sun
This has been thought of.
We (myself) are developing them merely for the traffic, without basing it on the premise that we will only make money from Hosted Galleries forever / in the future. Aggregation of traffic has long been a goal of mine, adult or not.
It simply takes to much work to build up your traffic to be narrow minded in your business philosophy. The way I see it, is traffic is the lowest common denominator with everything Internet based, no reason to limit yourself.
Thing is, the TGP market is not as diluted as everyone thinks. Most of the TGP's are almost solely based off of trade traffic, which amounts to skimming galleries at the end of the day. If you want to develop them for real converting consumers, you will need to break down the site for SE's. You will need to get involved with the right TGPs and get into the "network." Break away from trades. In the future, you will see less TGPs if you ask me. They will become too expensive for people to run, seeing that immediate returns will not be seen, they will have to chew up bandwidth charges for a good while. Take into account that people are making less money, and the equation balances out. My first TGP, main portal, costed a fortune, but the way the plan was laid out, we had to endure it.
We tackle a myriad of categories daily. Now, if you have quality traffic, you can likely push the envelope for more mainstream products. If you think creativily, TGPs might not be as inept a business as they have been made out to be. I have my ideas, I am just sitting back and hoping I am right. I suppose at the end of the day, we are all holding cards that we hope play out.
Sorry for the tangent Nick, I just had something to say. It is not the norm, I assure you.

no worries man.
Help us out with the Oprano TGP thing will ya?
To be honest, I have always interpretted Oprano to be very anti-tgp, so I do not usually offer any insight for that reason. Mike can likely vouch for the fact that I do not really fight that much, I just make long winded post. Another reason is that I am truly a product of my ability to work with others: translation, I get a lot of help from others that are succesful.
Our network is rising daily. I have no intention of attempting to live solely off of hosted galleries, although the money is nice.
I really believe it is all about business philosophy and watching the trends. We have several models to study in this industry, none of which have suffered fatalities from legal ramifications (exluding independent programs), but many have suffered losses based on consumer adaptations.
Now, a new trend presents itself, less a program and more a model. You can mull over the idea that TGP killed / will kill the affiliate / paysite program, just as much as you want, and maybe we could get the legacy AVS guys in here to complain about the guys who put hardcore tours up and sucked them dry, and we could have a party.
I will pitch in where I can on the TGP deal, but I assure you, I still have a tremendous amount to learn from all of you. I can say however, if anyone believes that tgps do not make money, they are very mistaken. Revise it to this: most TGPs do not make money, and I would say that is accurate.
We got some theories/ideas, that I have only been able to test on our inhouse tgps, since almost every tgp network out there are too affraid to tweek/optimize their businessmodel - its a real shame, because some of the things we have been trying are working well... I guess you can´t learn an old dog new tricks, so I´m looking forward to all of the new dogs entering the tgp scene... it takes almost miniml effort to run a TGP today - everything can be done by scripting, and working with layout/businessmodel etc. you get instant feedback.
Getting traffic to TGPs is not hard today (so many sellers/traders), however getting traffic to make % bookmarks and also make sales, that takes a bit more.
Will be interesting too see how many TGPs will be controlled by business people in the future

apart from the obvious - links to full sized pics from all thumbs, less graphic in the header and footer, member/preview/ join buttons not there etc ... what other changes would need to be made to be accepted into yours or any of the big tgp's to make this a valuable content 'feed' for your surfers?
The content in the pages will be a mix of movie still pics (all licensed, we usually have them before movie is released), movie reviews, and a news/gossip plugin from our members area which updates automatically ...
I don't care if this doesn't get accepted into the standard tgp community, i'd rather just offer it to a small group of tgp's - owners only etc ... i only want the traffic once, not after its been circle jerked between everyone else's tgp
The good thing about this content is it should convert your bookmarkers *eventually* because there will eventually be a celeb in the headlines that he/she likes.
Honestly I think a gallery like that wouldn't have a problem on one of our tgps if it was a little less graphics heavy, A few less images that look like they SHOULD be clickable (generally 3 links to the sponsor is a good amount, a lot of tgps won't take more than that with regular submits or even partner account submits), other than that I think it would be surprising how well it does. Aside from the subject matter (I would probably use a female over a male) honestly I would be very curious to see how it does. If you're interested in maybe setting up a trial run or something, cj, definitely hit me up and I will see what I can do. I think you'd do best if you tailor-pick content to the tgp it's being listed on, as different "types" of celebs will appeal to different traffic. If you contact me on icq we can talk about more details and I can run some numbers by you too.

Thanks LM, I figured graphics wise those pages are very over the top so minus top and bottom and with smaller thumbs that won't be a problem at all ...
With the content angle, I'm wanting to provide something to tgp's that's not like *any* of the other content/niches that's there ... the theory being that *everybody* likes movies of some kind - whether it be a certain actor/actress, a genre, movie news etc - porn surfers do things other than masturbate - you can keep them for that duration, I want them when they are wishing they purchased (insert brand here) tissues and/or are thinking about where to take their girlfriend/boyfriend next weekend.
Imagine a 'section' of your tgp, or a 'niche' if you like, called IN CINEMAS with subheadings like 'ski fi', 'drama', 'romance' - then each 'gallery' features stills of latest movies, trailer, news etc.
In marketing, when you have a large block of eyes all together in the 1 place not necessarily spending money on the actual product they are viewing - advertising to them is called BRANDING!
oh and btw, if you list the *hunks* galleries when we build them you can always just call the section 'for women' - THERE ARE WOMEN IN YOUR TRAFFIC!!
conversion wise ... you would be better off using one of our upcoming news feed features and just slotting it into one of your pharma site pages disguised as page content and letting it get established with your repeat customers ...
its the kind of thing that one day might convert a person because their fave celeb is in the headlines, but not convert that same person to the same site the following week because a celeb they hate, or worse, don't care about, is in the headlines.
none of the forced traffic we have sent any of the sites has converted at an acceptable standard ... all sites which are using news headlines and updating those headlines are converting awesome. so we are making advertising tools along these lines

So why dont you start a "for women" TGP? You'd be the natural person to do it.
Set your own rules so it's not a content free-for-all. And if you name it well, it would filter very naturally and give those of us who dont want to pitch the bitch a place to send our female traffic.
By that I mean if I have a list of links to other TGP sites on mine and one of them very naturally calls to the females, I get them off my site and onto your's. And a properly setup TGP does wonderous things with traffic trading, so ideally for every female I send your way, I'd get a male who made a wrong turn on your site back.
Good deal for all involved.
GonZo and I have done this for years...I send him my surfers that are looking for skanks and he sends me his surfers that are looking for hot women. I cant sell skanks, he cant sell teens, so we trade 'em.
