3 Men Facing Felony Charges on Shooting With Underage Girls

SALT LAKE CITY — Two Utah men facing charges of videotaping underage teenagers for a "Girls Gone Wild"-style online video business were extradited to Louisiana yesterday. A third man, who was also involved, has turned himself in to Louisiana authorities, according to Utah Internet Crimes Against Children agent Steve Gamvroulas.


Bryan Clark Christensen, 22, of Bountiful, Utah, and David Atiquallah Khwaja, 23, of Midvale, Utah, face felony charges in Louisiana of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, pornography involving a juvenile, indecent acts with a juvenile, and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A third man, Ian Walston, 31, of Salt Lake City, faces the same charge, except for carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Walston was released on bond in Utah and surrendered on Friday to Louisiana authorities. He is awaiting arraignment.

The charges arise from a trip the three made to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. They are accused of inviting women into an alcohol-stocked RV belonging to Walston's mother and taping them in various sexually explicit poses and acts. The tapes were posted to "Hot Girls Unleashed," a website that is a business registered to Walston, Gamvroulas said. They made about 17 tapes with several different women.

Two girls were allegedly 16 and 17 years old, and Christensen and Khwaja are accused of taping themselves having sex acts with the girls. Walston is not accused of that, and his attorney, Susanne Gustin, has said he was not there when the tapes were made. Gustin also said the girls presented themselves as 18 or older and were willing to go on camera inside the RV.
"They would videotape the girl's face. They would videotape her identification. And most of the girls said they were in college," she said.
Gamvroulas said there is no proof on the tapes.

Christensen and Khwaja could face a maximum penalty of 22 years in prison if found guilty of all charges; Walston could serve up to 16 years. The mother of one of the girls reported the incident to police in Louisiana after the three had left the state. The connection was discovered in April, after police responded to a noise complaint at a party in Draper, Utah. The tapes were found in an RV draped with a "Hot Girls" banner outside the party. Gamvroulas reviewed the tapes, tracked them back to the incident in Louisiana and the three were arrested earlier this month on fugitive from justice charges. They face no charges in Utah.

yeah because common sense tells us we dont need to check ID or get model release forms and can trust what people tell us

NO doubt, i dont even like to talk to a young-ish model without an id. I've seen 25 year olds that look 16. I've seen 15 year olds that look 22.

And because of the rest of my porfolio, I'll never shoot anyone under 18 even if they're fully clothed. You start mixing a porn portfolio with pics of 16 year old girls, and somewhere guys in dark suits are gonna decide they might oughta take a look and see what all is on your hard drive.

Here's something to ponder....

Are guys like this ass clown good or bad for shooters who strictly stay on the up and up and dont venture into the "gray" areas?

The immediate reaction is usually they are bad because they are part of what makes all of us get asked "you dont do kiddie porn do you?" whenever someone finds out what we do. They make the entire industry look even sleazier than it really is.

But there's another side...

It's the canary again...

As long as there are guys like this out there, it gives the government some good high profile wins to nail them and keeps them off of the rest of us. There's plenty of low hanging fruit for them to gather thanks to the girls gone wild business model and the real sickos doing kiddie porn. If it weren't there, they might be more inclined to knock on doors of legitimate shooters just to make sure that girl who is 21 really isn't one of those really mature 16 year olds i mentioned earlier....

I prefer that point of view but I think ultimately they bring a bad rep to the industry when its clear they aren't even part of it (no one legitimate in the industry would approach and film girls without asking for IDs).
