I have a plan... (and it's 65% working : )

I've decided that I want to make $1 per day in mainstream.

But that's one NEW dollar every day. On day two I want $2 - on day three I want $3. I do this by creating a site every day or a major new part of a site. I've been doing this for two weeks and am getting about $9 per day back now from adSense - so I'm a little behind schedule. But even at that rate (65%) I'll be on $234 a day after a year - that's $85,000 in a year - but actually only $42,500 in the first year because I'll have worked up to that figure.

Then in year 2? - Well, by the end of it I would hope to be making $469 per day. That would be $171,000 in a year (an actual amount earned of $85,000 in that year).

If my plan works (and I don't see why it won't) this is what I hope to earn over 5 years...

Year 1 $42,500
Year 2 $85,000
Year 3 $170,000
Year 4 $340,000
Year 5 $680,000

Total after five years work?

$1.31 million

I figure I MUST be able to build something in a day that's worth a dollar! (every day from then on, that is : )

So there you have it. I'm aiming for that next million at just 1 dollar per day...

thats an inaccurate way of looking at it. because youre counting on each dollar being a daily perpetuity for at least 5 years. in other words, each day, you have to create something that makes you $365 a year for a minimum of 5 years, thats not quite making a $1 a day. as an estimate, thats essentially like creating something that will make $1500 over 5 years each and every day.

Yes, that's exactly correct. But the motivating factor of just thinking about $1 per day is easier than thinking OMG gotta make $1,500 per day. But actually it works because you only need four 25c clicks from google etc per day for each site you build - and once built it will keep recurring.

Now theres a motivator... 4 .25 clicks from google. Certainly puts things in a better prospective.

Slow going, but starting to pass the $15 per day mark - it seems that the hits and clicks *do* recur (so far). I'll report again in a couple more weeks.

Now wouldn't the next step, assuming it isn't too labor intensive to build one site a day like this, be to add another site a day and keep going until you get to a point where you can comfortably build x amount of sites per day with the same goal for each site so your work grows even faster?

I've been spending part of my time writing software to help build sites quicker. One thing I want to do is rewrite old sites in new ways that the search engines won't spot and then re-upload them. It's not easy fining ways to make sites look diifferent to people and search engines automatically but it's possible. Once complete I hope to grow this thing a lot faster
