A question for LL owners...

Good Morning Oprano.

Been angsting about this for a couple of days, so finally decided I would ask the pros

I built a free site the other night and submitted it to 6 or 8 of the lists that I have submitted to before, lists that I usually get accepted on. I received messages from all that they had received the submit.

I have not received any rejections on it, but I also have not received any accepts. I have gone to the lists to look and see if it is listed, it is not.

I realize that it could still be accepted, but I am used to a much quicker response from most of them. Or at least some email action other than the "received" message.

I had to submit under various categories because it does not really fit into a single category... It is both a "babe" site and a "porn for women" site.

Anyone see any problems as to why this would not be accepted?

Any suggestions as to what category I should be picking ?

sarettah - love the site, love the concept and what you've done but ...
as much as I hate to say it you might not be getting listed because the site has US patriotic overtones

Hey Vick

I don't think that will be a prob. Just got off of Greenguy's message board, he will have it in tomorrow's update.

Main problem seems to be the mixed categories.

The theme came from this weeks NPOW (Newbie Project of the Week) over at Voltar's place. I have seen other folks who built for it after me getting listed at the same LL's I submitted to. But their's were more easy to categorize because they did "Patriotic Babe" sites or "Patriotic Lesbian" sites...

It is a cool concept and as I started on it, I immediately went "but what about the ladies?" So I ended up in this hybrid never never land of categories.

I probably should have contacted the LL's via email and asked them what category to put it in or something like that.

Oh well, chalk some up to R&D

Hey Sare,
Why not split it up and make two sites? The content pack of Nick has enough to do a 20-pic softcore free site, not sure if you could get that many out of what's her name (I forget and don't feel like going to Dean's site to find out).
You could tie the two sites together like you would a Triple, with a link on the front page going to the other site through a rotating FPA with console.

I took the idea a bit further, I'm making a Gold site out of it.

Cool, that makes sense about hard to categorize

But adding something for the ladies is a good touch, don't know if it would have been better made into 2 sites

Hey Carrie

If I did it again (or do it again) I will do 2 seperate sites... and yes, I have Dean's entire catalog, so I have plenty to work from there along with a bunch of phoenix and focus and fetishbrokers and and and...lol... I have plenty of contect to work with.

I will probably end up with a triple on this, but it will probably not have any consoles and very few fpas.... I want the militray that do trip across it to get a clean site.... The rest of the world I am trying the old soft sell on

I want to avoid traps because I am putting it into the message boards of some of the mainstream military sites I belong too (alumni associatrion, etc, so those that have overseas access will actually find it

Well, Monday morning now and from my stats it looks like most of the lists have me up now...

But, still haven't received acceptance emails...lol....

Wondered about whether the email address was working or not, but it gets my test messages ok, and I did get the original confirmations that they had the submissions...

Oh well, who cares, as long as the traffic comes...
