That's absolutely gorgeous. I just left a wetspot on my chair. Man Corvette seems to have recovered some of the style they lost for the last few years!

Very nice. One of my goals has been to have one Vette for each series.

I am 1 out of 5 right now!

Next year I may be 2 out of 6!

:rokk:

The new vette looks real sweet. :)

I used to have a '54 vette in polo white.

Wish I hadn't sold it. :(

Yeah, its a classic. Not the best to drive, but what has the appreciation been?? Probably better then the stock market past 4 -5 years.

I bought it in the md nineties . One of only 2 in the UK , at the time I believe. I think I paid 25k pounds for it.And sold it a couple of years later for 30k

The guy I bought it from was also selling his 59 Caddie Eldorado Conv.Gorgeous car. 59 is the one with the big fins isn't it.

Didn't have enough cash to buy both. And the Caddie was a little to big to drive around British roads.I think he wanted 30k for it. Its probably worth 150kUS now

(I also had 1 of the 7 GMC Syclones in the UK , and a typhoon. And a Honda NSX (Which was given to Arton Seena by Honda) .I outta scan some pics)

In the early 80's I had a Porsche 911RSR lightweight.
Sold it just before prices rocketed.Partexchanged it for a 308GTS Ferarri...which didn't rocket in price :(

This trip down memory lane is begining to depress me LOL

The Jaguar XKE is still the sexiest car ever made!

You don't need DD breasts when you are behind
the wheel of a mint 60's XKE convertible.

finally they realized how butt-ugly their rising headlights were. That looks almost good, no match for european supercars when it comes to looks though. Best looking car from the north-america though.

I am planning on the '05
There are varying views on 5 or 6 generations [to date]
on the vette
the timeline for 5 is '53, '63, '68, '84, '97...[i think]
there are some enthusiasts that insert '58 to that (dual headlights etc...)
whatever....
have to check out the interior of the new one though

I'd rather go for the 2005 Mustang

They are bringing back the 60's style and modernizing it:
